Apply your organization to the largest social innovation map in Latin America

Hola America developed a network of more than 700 Latin American innovations to jointly address the needs of migrant and refugee communities, and to facilitate the organizations to connect with each other. This year we seek to expand it, and we will emphasize innovations that provide tools to migrant and/or refugee women in Chile and Argentina. Organizations can apply until March 15.

If you know or are part of a social innovation focused on solving challenges around migration in your community, Hola América is looking for organizations that want to be part of the largest innovation map in Latin America.

This network includes organizations that address a wide range of areas, such as education, physical and mental health, sports, finance, among others. Organizations from all areas are welcome to apply, especially innovations from Chile and Argentina that provide tools to migrant and/or refugee women.

With these efforts, Hola América – with the support of Ashoka and 2811 – seeks to strengthen the ecosystem of social innovations in South America, to work together to solve the challenges faced by the migrant and refugee community in the region.

Our work focuses on generating solutions to the crises associated with migration, facilitating the encounter between the world of innovation and entrepreneurship, generating exchanges in the ecosystem and promoting entrepreneurship as a tool for economic reactivation.

The deadline to apply for social innovations is March 15, 2023  .

The role of local governments in migration

Migration brings with it many challenges that are as diverse as the people who migrate. Some situations require measures at the national level, but others can be addressed from more limited areas, understanding that local realities have more specific needs.
